Aura Personalization Consent
Edition of 26 October 2026.
I freely give Individual entrepreneur Maksim Vladimirovich Kuleshov, Republic of Armenia, registration number RB22-E283-7DEC-1724, 26A Khorenatsi St., Yerevan, Armenia ("Aura") my consent to process my personal data for personalization on the terms below. This consent is separate and optional. Without it, the app works the same, just without suggestions based on my answers.
1. Why
To suggest practices, styles, times and teachers that suit me: for example, a calm practice when I want to relax, or a teacher after whose classes I have more energy.
Suggestions are only suggestions. They do not affect my rights, prices, access to features, or whether a teacher accepts my booking.
2. What data
- After-practice answers:
- three ratings from 1 to 5: energy, calm, ease in the body;
- up to four feelings from a fixed list (for example, "relaxed", "energized", "clear head", "tired");
- what I want next time (for example, "relax", "flexibility", "breathing");
- the "Where did my thoughts go?" line — up to 280 characters, if I write it;
- a note that I skipped the question.
- The class the answer is about: practice type, style, format (in person or online), duration, weekday and start hour, teacher, teacher's city, my country from my profile, date and time of the answer.
- My booking and attendance history in Aura: which practices, styles and teachers I booked.
3. This is not medical data
The answers describe how I feel after a class. They are not health data. Aura does not diagnose, assess health or give medical advice. Yoga in Aura is fitness and rest, not treatment.
Please do not write about illnesses, symptoms, injuries or medication in the "Where did my thoughts go?" line — only about how you feel. The field hint says: no diagnoses, no medication.
4. What Aura does with the data
Collection, recording, organisation, storage, updating, retrieval, use, anonymisation, blocking, deletion, destruction. Processing is automated: a program makes suggestions by rules. No decision with legal effects for me is made by automated means alone.
Aura may analyse answers in anonymised form (without my name, email or identifiers that could point to me) to improve suggestions. Only answers of people who gave this consent are included. The "Where did my thoughts go?" line is never part of that analysis. Anonymised exports are kept for no more than 24 months.
5. Who sees it
- I see my answers and my line.
- My teacher does not see my answers. Nor do other users.
- Only a limited number of Aura staff who need it to run the service have access to the server.
- The data are stored by the hosting provider Beget LLC (Russia, Saint Petersburg) on Aura's instructions. There are no other recipients.
- These data are not transferred abroad. Answers are not sent to analytics services (Firebase or others). The "How do you feel after the practice?" reminder arrives as a push notification via Apple or Google, but it contains none of my answers.
6. How long
- Answers and class details — 3 years after my last practice, but no longer than my account exists. After that they are erased. After I delete my account, they are erased within 30 days.
- The "Where did my thoughts go?" line — 12 months from the answer. Then it is erased automatically; the rest of the answer stays.
- The consent lasts until I withdraw it or delete my account.
7. How to withdraw
I can withdraw at any time: in the app (after the first update following the release: Profile → Settings → Personalization) or by email to support at info@aura-aum.ru from my account's address.
After I withdraw:
- Aura stops using my answers for suggestions — within 30 days of receiving the withdrawal, usually at once;
- my "Where did my thoughts go?" lines are erased within the same period;
- my answers are no longer used in anonymised analysis, and anonymised copies containing them are deleted within the same period (without consent, answers are never included in the analysis);
- ratings and feelings stay as my private diary: only I see them, and they are not used for suggestions;
- the "Where did my thoughts go?" field is no longer shown until I consent again.
Withdrawal does not affect what Aura did with the data before it.
8. Without consent
If I do not consent, or withdraw, my after-practice answers are kept only as my private diary. The "Where did my thoughts go?" line is not stored — there is no field for it. No suggestions are made from my answers.
9. New edition
If Aura changes the meaning of this text, the app will ask for consent again. Until I accept the new edition, my new answers are kept as a diary and I cannot write the line.
10. If I am outside Russia
The legal basis is my consent (for users in the EU — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; elsewhere — consent under Russian Federal Law 152-FZ). The data are stored in Russia. I have the right to know which data are processed, get a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, withdraw consent and complain to the data protection authority of my country. Requests go to info@aura-aum.ru.
11. Confirmations
I am 18 or older. I have read the Privacy Policy.
